 The Client 
 My Client is one of the UK's leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the Social Housing sector, maintaining more than 500,000 properties Nationwide every year. Due to managing an increased number of properties, my Client is looking to recruit an Electrical Quantity Surveyor based from their offices in West Sussex. 
 
 The Role 
 Working on their Social Housing Planned & Responsive works and reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to manage 6 Electricians and provide effective cost management and cost control for their Electrical works. 
 
 Duties & Responsibilities: 
 Viewing, checking and uploading all Electrical Certification 
 Preparing detailed breakdown of costs for all Electrical works 
 Compiling sub-contract orders and their subsequent issuing to Contractors 
 Carrying out cost and value reconciliation on all items 
 Overseeing spend on in-house and sub-contract labour and material procurement 
 Preparing Cost Value Comparison (Profit & Loss) notes 
 Attend specification meetings to confirm site specific specification requirements. 
 Attend pre-start meetings. 
 Place and issue sub-contract orders in accordance with Group Policy and Commercial Best Practice to budget and within programme requirements. 
 Attend and minute all sub-contract order adjudication meetings. 
 Liaise with all Departments on sub-contractors' performance and compliance with order conditions. 
 
 Qualifications & Experience: 
 Must have previous experience of working as a Quantity Surveyor on Social Housing Planned or Reactive works 
 Must have previous experience of working as an Electrical QS 
 Must be a fully qualified Electrician 
 Must be IT literate
