Maintenance Technician - 3rd shift (BBBH7580) Rosemount, Minnesota

Salary: USD24 - USD28 per hour + Performance and attendance weekly bonus!

Maintenance Technicians Needed in Rosemount, MN!

Direct Hire - no time spent on contract!

3rd shift: 4:30pm - 5:00am

3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off
Pay: $24-28/hr with pay increase after 2 weeks and biweekly performance bonuses! 


Job Summary: 
Support Operations by performing mechanical and, preventive maintenance repairs as well as basic electrical maintenance keeping plant machinery and mechanical equipment in good repair.  When performing duties ensuring safe work practices, work quality, and accuracy. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Maintain the plant equipment including motors, rubber/steel belt conveyors systems, and production-related equipment.
  • Inspect/diagnose and maintain the functionality of production machines.
  • Examine machines to diagnose problem, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, reassemble machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure efficient operation with some support.
  • Good working knowledge of hand tools, able to inspect equipment to ensure safe operations and identifies equipment that is in need of repair.
  • Repair or assist in repair of equipment; such as cleaning, greasing and changing belts. 
  • Request supplies and materials needed for repair, maintenance and fabrication.
  • Perform intermediate troubleshooting, work with limited technical guidance and may provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff.
  • Document equipment maintenance actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
  • Communicate with Maintenance and Production teams in a clear, concise and respectful manner.
  • Contributes to equipment maintenance and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests; helping others accomplish job results.

 

Skills: 

  • Ability to understand production systems.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Capable of working with hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics/automation fabrication, welding and basic electrical.
  • Able to operate various pieces of handheld equipment.
  • Able to solve problems, be solutions driven and make the call to make the right fix.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals of varied backgrounds.
  • Ability to work prolong periods in heat and cold as dictated by outside temperatures.


Qualifications: 

  • 2 years of mechanical background or equivalent work experience.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills preferred.
