Warehouse Operative

Pay rate: £13.20 per hour

Contract: 6 months

Full time – Monday to Friday

Join a team behind a world leading scientific company serving science solutions. As a Warehouse Operative, you will join a great team and play a crucial role within the warehouse.

Warehouse Operative Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am - 4pm

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

• Follow work orders and carry out tasks as instructed
• Perform material handling, packing and production support activities
• Operate assigned equipment with training and instructions
• Move raw materials, components and finished goods as directed
• Carry out basic visual checks and report any issues or deviations immediately
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE, JSA, COSHH and site requirements
• Report hazards and incidents promptly to a supervisor or team leader
• Assist with picking, packing, labelling and storage of materials
• Assist with stock checks and report discrepancies
• Be flexible to move between tasks and participate in team activities as required

Warehouse Operative Required Skills:

• Great attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to follow instructions without deviation
• Ensure full compliance with site security and health & safety policies
