Material Handler with FLT

Pay rate: £13.20 per hour

Contract: 12 months

Full time – Monday to Friday

Join a team behind a world leading scientific company serving science solutions. As a Materials Handler, you will join a great team and play a crucial role within the warehouse.

Material Handler Shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• 8am - 4pm

Material Handler Responsibilities:

• Receive, unpack and accurately book goods using the warehouse system
• Store stock in the correct locations and deal with returns, returning items to their correct location
• Pick UK and export shipments using pick lists and report missing or damaged items.
• Pack and label shipments to transport regulations and complete export paperwork.
• Carry out stock counts and investigate missing‑stock issues.
• Safely handle fine chemicals (bulk or prepacks) following CEM and MSDS instructions.
• Use courier/third‑party systems as required and keep records up to date.
• Operate equipment (e.g. forklifts) and report any defects.
• Maintain consumables and follow site security, quality (QMS/EMS) and health & safety policies.

Material Handler Required Skills:

• Must have accredited Counterbalance FLT Licence (no in-house licences)
• Great attention to detail
• Previous warehouse experience
• Ability to follow instructions without deviation
• Ensure full compliance with site security and health & safety policies
