Pay rate: £13.50 - £14.00 per hour

Contract: Part-Time, On-going

Gi Group is recruiting a Forklift Driver on behalf of our client, a family‑run provider of integrated technology services in Derby (DE21). Join a friendly team operating reach and counterbalance trucks to safely load, move and store stock in a busy warehouse.

Forklift Driver Shifts:

• Monday to Friday

• 9am – 3pm (with 15 minute break)

Forklift Driver Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks in narrow aisles, high racking systems, and busy warehouse environments

• Load and unload vehicles, trailers, and containers using appropriate forklift types and transport stock to designated areas

• Ensure goods are secured, balanced, and handled safely to prevent damage

• Consolidate, organise, and rotate stock (including FIFO/LIFO processes where required)

• Pick orders using forklift equipment or manual handling when needed

Forklift Driver Requirements: 

• Must have accredited Reach and Counterbalance FLT licences (we cannot accept in-house licences)

• Experience driving Reach and Counterbalance forklifts within a similar position

• Great attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions

• Ensure full compliance with site procedures and health & safety policies
