Job Title – Production Planner
Location –  Llangefni
Salary - £45,000
12 month fixed term contract

I’m working closely with one of global food manufacturer, located in a beautiful town in north Wales, they’re recruiting for a Production Planner on a 12 months fixed term contract, if you’re looking for a new challenge in a company that offers a great opportunity to further develop your experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• To plan and manage production schedules for 3 sites in line with customer demand.
• Working closely with manufacturing and purchasing ensuring effective planning to achieve on time delivery of all customers orders.
• To assist with the overall operation of the Central planning department in relation to maintaining and improving customer service.
• Provide interactive information for Planning and Logistics Manager, Operations and commercial team, attend meetings at any of the 3 Glanbia locations.
• Track and report weekly Customer service levels against budget.
• Daily communication with site Quality assurance and operations departments for any product quality related issues
• Ensure the correct handling and storage of chilled, frozen and ambient goods

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

• Understand the site Environmental Targets and objectives and how their department can influence these in a positive manner.
• Awareness of site environmental standards, and ensure production processes operate in accordance with the requirements of ISO14001 (2001).
• Experience as production planner in a food manufacturing environment desirable but will send over experience in another sector.
