Hunter selection are working closely with a manufacturing company that has experienced substantial growth in 2024 and continues to drive forward with their recruitment, they’re looking for an experienced purchasing manager to join their team, you’ll be directly involved in the sourcing of products and services to achieve a cost saving plan.

 Job description:

• Tracking the performance plan in accordance with the purchasing budget objectives
• Sourcing suppliers, contract drafting, negotiation and managing suppliers through the whole procurement process.
• Creation of purchase orders and schedules within SAP
• Run tenders, evaluate bids and make recommendations based on commercial and technical factors
• Negotiate, execute and monitor contractual agreements with key suppliers

Experience:

• Either purchasing or supply chain procurement qualification
• Proven experience at senior level
• Ability to interpret and understand complicated legislation
• Extensive experience managing suppliers and internal stakeholders across international business
