Electrical Engineer
Location - Newport

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer with proven experience in this field, a well established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Newport has recently seen some substantial growth within the company and is expanding their engineering department.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on electrical equipment including, motors, VSD’s, Motor control panels and their associated components
• Fault find and repair defective electrical components/systems
• Install/replace electrical components to correct standard
• Interpret and update single line diagrams, wiring diagrams and other electrical schematics
• Monitor PLC programs for fault finding purposes and carry out basic modifications
• Assist Works Electrical Engineer in design of new circuits and projects
• Build/replace minor control panels
• Update CMMS after completion of works and create work orders/TAGS where necessary.
