ARH Tiger Avionics and Software Engineer (14656) Brisbane Airport, Brisbane, Australia

Salary: L3 or 4

Start: circa 15 May 2024
Duration: 36 months – with no extension options
Locations: Airbus Australia Pacific Brisbane Airport, Victoria Barracks and Gallipoli Barracks, QLD

Basic Requirements:
1. AGSVA Security clearance
2. Demonstrated skill, experience and qualifications:

a. Discipline – Platform Engineering
b. Services – Electrical/Power, Sensor Management, EWSP Airborne, Avionics Systems, Communications Systems, Software Systems and Aerospace Systems
c. Lead Skill Level – Level 3/4 with demonstrated experience in the application of DASR
d. Demonstrate previous experience a level of competency to achieve the required level of Authority from the CENGR IAW AASPO-SOP-(ENG) 12-0-135.

3. Demonstrated skills, experience and ability to perform Tiger Avionics and Software Engineering including:

a. Conduct CCB Engineering reviews of ADPs to support Development Approval, IA and SR recommendations
b. Compliance sampling of ADPs
c. Engineering investigations (small / large)

  • Progression of Tiger DACM priorities
  • Review and Revise Engineering and Business Practices
  • Provision of SME advice to Weapons System/Capability Management activities
  • Performance of compliance, quality assurance, governance oversight and corporate reporting activities
  • Compliance Finding activities
  • Development and delivery of engineering training modules as required
  • Provision of engineering mentoring services
  • Provision of handovers and disengagement
  • Provision of Project Management of Services and report on progress
  • Effective relationship building with team members, management and stakeholders.

4. Ability to research and formulate a strategy with respect to the Deliverables.
