Duration: 12 months – with 2 x 12 month extension options
Location: Canberra, ACT

Basic Requirements and demonstrated experience with the following:

  • AGSVA Security clearance
  • Data, map and application configuration and deployment in ArcGIS Enterprise
  • GIS skills and experience in management of spatial data
  • ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Administering Esri systems
  • Esri Web Services, ArcGIS Enterprise and other related spatial services
  • Installation, configuration and support of an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment in a disconnected environment.
  • Delivery, specification, design, implementation and management of enterprise geospatial systems.
  • GIS business, architecture concepts (Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, etc.), and GIS deployment architectures.
  • ESRI geospatial technologies, including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Desktop, and knowledge of other geospatial technologies including open source geospatial technologies.
  • Defence use of ArcGIS and its customer set
  • Defence Intelligence business processes
  • Cloud platforms (esp. AWS) and the operation of geospatial systems within these platforms.
  • The use of geospatial systems within humanitarian assistance and disaster relief events and counter-terrorism events.
  • Open geospatial standards including OGC, OWF GeoServices and other relevant open standards.
  • Stakeholder relationship management and learning design and development
  • Esri certification in one or more of the following:
    • ArcGIS Desktop Associate and/or Professional
    • Enterprise Geodata Management
    • Enterprise Administration
