Operations Manager

OVERVIEW: We are a leading provider of full-service staffing and management programs for the K-12 educational market. We are currently seeking an Operations Manager to serve as the primary representative of ESS within the School District of Philadelphia.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the full applicant lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, supervising assigned district staff, coordinating trainings/orientations, and moving candidates efficiently through each onboarding stage.
- Oversee all federal and state credentialing, clearances, and employment eligibility requirements; ensure accurate and timely completion of new‑hire paperwork and compliance with employment laws.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in internal systems for payroll and credentialing; complete required weekly, monthly, and quarterly documentation; and track hiring, turnover, retention, and staffing statistics.
- Provide strong administrative assistance to regional recruiters, management teams, and school partners while working collaboratively to maintain positive and effective working relationships.
- Manage extensive internal and external communications and deliver high‑quality, responsive customer service through timely email, phone, and in‑person interactions.
- Establish and meet ambitious hiring goals aligned with organizational objectives; evaluate recruitment strategy effectiveness; and support ongoing improvements directed by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years experience in management or a leadership role.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with management reports.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Maintain high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality.
