Our client operate a successful retail business involved with hire and sales of quality fitness and associated equipment.

Currently seeking a energetic and driven Store Manager who will be solely responsible for the Queenstown Operation.

As a Store Manager your primary responsibility will be the selling of fitness equipment, products and services to our amazing customers, and providing the necessary specialist fitness support and advice to ensure the customer's expectations are met. 

Responsibilities

  • Improve year on years sales whilst protecting GP by following sales guidelines and processes.
  • Ensure the professional presentation and appearance of the shop at all times including cleaning, shop layout and fit-out
  • Ensure all fitness equipment such as treadmills, bikes and gyms are assembled in an efficient manner
  • Provide advice and guidelines on health and fitness and the use of fitness products and services to customers
  • Process sales and receive customer payment as directed
  • Deal with customer enquiries as appropriate
  • Assist in the identification of training requirements and attend any training courses as required
  • Immediately advise and report operational issues which may affect the overall performance of the business
  • Ensure the maintenance of customer databases and ongoing marketing and communication with customers
  • Work with and assist the Managing Director on the implementation of any new initiatives relating to the business

Person Specification

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales and sales process
  • Physically able to carry out all assigned duties and pass any medical examinations required to hold appropriate licences.
  • Hold a valid and up to date NZ driver’s license.
  • Available for working week: Mon - Fri 9am - 5:30pm, Sat 10am - 4pm
  • Passionate about fitness not essential buit highly regarded
