The Opportunity
An expanding international group is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support the integration and professionalisation of a newly acquired European business.
This is a key appointment within a growing international operation and will play a pivotal role in stabilising and developing the finance function during an important period of transition and growth. The successful candidate will take ownership of systems implementation, process improvement, and establishing a scalable finance structure.
This opportunity would suit a hands-on and commercially minded Financial Controller who enjoys building structure within growing businesses and operating within a fast-paced international environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the transition to QuickBooks Online, whilst establishing robust and scalable accounting processes across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the migration to QuickBooks Online
- Stabilising and improving the accounting system
- Establishing efficient and scalable finance processes
- Managing day-to-day financial operations
- Supporting financial reporting and operational oversight
- Working closely with both local and international stakeholders
- Helping professionalise the finance function to support future growth
About You
The ideal candidate will be a strong and process-driven Financial Controller with previous experience implementing or managing QuickBooks Online within a growing business environment.
You will also demonstrate:
- Proven Financial Controller experience
- Strong systems implementation and process improvement capability
- Previous QuickBooks Online experience
- A hands-on and efficient approach
- The ability to work autonomously within a small team environment
- Strong communication skills across international stakeholders
- An eye for scalability and long-term operational improvement
Dutch and English language skills would be advantageous.
Working Arrangement
- On-site presence required during the initial phase
- Hybrid flexibility available thereafter
- Standard business hours
