Business Development Manager – Digital Post Room & Hybrid Mail Solutions (B2B Sales)
Location: Remote / Virtual (with potential travel)
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Role Overview
A motivated and results-driven B2B salesperson is required to promote Digital Post Room and Hybrid Mail solutions. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing existing client relationships, and driving overall sales growth.
The position suits someone with a strong understanding of digital transformation and a consultative approach to improving document management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and industry events
- Manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact through to closing deals
- Conduct client needs assessments to understand current document management processes
- Present and demonstrate Digital Post Room and Hybrid Mail solutions, tailored to client requirements
- Negotiate and close contracts while building long-term client relationships
- Maintain and grow existing accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales (ideally within document management or software)
- Understanding of digital transformation and cloud-based solutions
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish client trust
- Self-motivated with a focus on achieving sales targets
- Experience using CRM systems and sales tools
- Knowledge of postal regulations and hybrid mail processes is advantageous
