My client, a well established manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Engineer on a continental shift pattern:
What you’ll be doing as their Maintenance Engineer:
- Preventative and reactive maintenance of a variety of manufacturing equipment including furnaces, vacuum pumps, cooling farms, refrigeration plant, etc.
- Preventative and reactive maintenance of a variety of equipment systems, including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, vacuum, HVAC etc.
- Plan and prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
- Implement preventative maintenance on all plant equipment, including the building (internal, external and security).
- Responding to breakdowns at pace, identify fault and problem solve with minimal downtime to production.
- Carry out breakdown root causes analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Reporting of equipment faults and concerns to management, including root cause analysis.
- Responsible for all electrical work including lighting, installation & fault finding.
- Work within 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise, Sustain) methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard.
- Ensuring that all electrical and P&ID drawings are up to date.
- Comply with all H&S procedures, legislation and company policies.
- Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard.
- Working alongside Contractors as and when required.
- Communicate effectively within all departments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement throughout the Maintenance System.

Salary: £52,500 including shift allowance
Shifts: Monday – Sunday
4 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 4 days off - 6am - 6pm, followed by 4 nights on, 4 nights off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off - 6pm - 6am
