Salary: AUD120000 - AUD180000 per annum

The Organisation

Our client has a very successful asset management, valuations and project management team based in Brisbane. Due to an ongoing health pipeline of work and a number of tenders out, they are looking to add a Client Side Project Manager to their team based in Brisbane. They run a fluid approach and target sectors which are trending and growing. Typically, they deliver a range of commercial, healthcare, retail, local government and other projects for institutions or asset owners as required. This is an opportunity for a client-side project manager or contract administrator who is looking to move to client-side to join a very successful project management team and grow your career.

 

The Opportunity 

You will be assisting in the planning and delivery of a number of projects, across various market sectors. You will be involved in projects at various stages from conception through to final handover including; business cases preparation, engagement of consultants, planning and coordination of the design, site and contractor management, contract management, managing project timelines and reporting, managing clients' expectations, forecasting risks and problems to ensure the project is delivered ontime and underbudget. You will be working in a supportive, inclusive and high-performing project management team who are growing due to a consistent and growing project pipeline across a number of industry sectors. 

 

About You

Successful candidates will most likely be client side project managers for a consultancy, in-house for an asset owner or a contract administrator who is wanting to transition to client-side. Candidates will need to have a strong understanding and proven experience in construction contracts, contract administration and project delivery. Multi sector experience is preferred but not essential. You will be expected to have; demonstrated experience with a range of project delivery methods, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work autonmously and as a part of a team. Candidates would need to have a construction related degree (construction management, quantity surveying, engineering, architeecture) and ideally be AIPM registered.
