Stafforce are currently on the lookout for an Estimator to join a growing team in Barnsley, within this role you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-end commercial projects with values up to £50M.
What to Expect:
- Creating tenders for commercial projects – ranging from £100K - £50M
- Estimating for all aspects of projects, ranging from structural steel to precast concrete staircases
- Primarily office-based with occasional site and customer visits
- Manage a busy, varied workload and meet tight deadlines
- Work closely with the Estimating and Design teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Work from detailed drawings and specifications
What We Need from You:
- Preferably an HND or equivalent in a technical or engineering discipline, or 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience in the construction industry, structural steel or fabrication experience is an advantage
- Confident in client meetings and understanding of building solutions
- Ability to read and interpret engineer's and architect's drawings
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in Excel and Word
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to work independently
