About the Role


We are recruiting for a List Caller Administrator (AO) to join Westminster Magistrates' Court. This is a busy and varied role supporting the day-to-day operation of the court, combining administration, customer service, court support, and remote hearing coordination. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily court hearing lists and ensure cases are called in the correct order.
  • Check in court users, direct them to the appropriate courtroom or waiting area, and provide updates on hearing progress.
  • Liaise with judges, legal representatives, interpreters, probation officers, and other stakeholders to support the smooth running of court proceedings.
  • Provide courtroom and ushering support, including preparing courtrooms and ensuring required documentation is available.
  • Schedule and host remote hearings using the Cloud Video Platform (CVP), create secure video links, issue invitations, and provide basic technical support to participants.
  • Handle face-to-face, telephone, and email enquiries professionally, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
  • Complete a range of administrative duties including data entry, maintaining court records, processing documentation, arranging interpreters, processing interpreter timesheets, and supporting general office operations.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Customer service experience in a busy or public-facing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
  • Professional approach with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
