Currently engaged by a global commodities business to appoint an Indirect Tax manager on a contractual basis. The role will account full ownership for the EMEA end to end compliance processes as well as advise the business and stakeholders on compliance related queries.

This is a fast-paced industry, with high volume data sets and so understanding/experience of this environment is key.

Specific Responsibilities Include: 

·         Preparation and review of the Groups European and certain APAC VAT returns and other supplementary reporting.

·         Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filing of VAT/GST Returns, Intrastat and EU Sales Lists in the relevant countries

·         Reconcile VAT reports, payments and refunds with Balance sheet and ensure that VAT costs in Trading system have no P&L impact.
