Indirect Tax Senior Manager (EMEA) Commercial Real Estate- competitive package/flexible working. 

Are you an experienced Indirect Tax Adviser, who has demonstrable in-house experience (including secondments), ideally within a partially exempt business? I am representing a well renowned, commercial real estate multinational, to appoint a revamped hire, to lead their Indirect Tax affairs across the EMEA region.

Reporting into the Head of Tax, this is a key role, tasked to develop group indirect tax strategy, advise on commercial transactions as well as develop internal processes across the EMEA. With compliance outsourced, this role is a proactive, strategic and solutions driven role with plentiful opportunity for progression.

You would join part of a fast paced, complex business structure with a breadth of interesting work.

The company operate an agile and flexible working environment with offices based in Central London.

Specific responsibilities include: 

  • Leading on Indirect Tax affairs across the business 
  • Acting as lead contact for Indirect Tax advisory to business functions.
  • Managing outsourced VAT compliance operation across EMEA.
  • Developing new and reviewing current processes whilst continuously seeking to optimise efficiency's. 
  • Seek to optimise a controls and governance framework to mitigate risk and ensure group is compliant.
  • Review PESM methods in some EU entities
  • Support from an Indirect Tax perspective the advisory around M&A activity.
  • Manage relationship with third parties and lead on any UK VAT audits
  • Raising awareness of Indirect Taxes and business partnering across broader business units
