HR Administrator

HR Administrator (RL14595) Scarborough, England

Salary: GBP16000 - GBP16000 per annum

Due to continued growth we have a manufacturing client on the outskirts of Scarborough looking to recruit a HR Co-coordinator on a part time basis. Reporting directly into the HR Manager you will be responsible for delivering an effective and proactive HR function across the business, you will provide a responsive and customer focused HR service to the business by ensuring timely, efficient and effective HR support and administration is maintained  This role would be perfect for a candidate looking for part time role to work around school pick up’s or other commitments. 

 The ideal candidate will have generalist HR knowledge and best practice, understand HR policy and procedure, and ideally have a CIPD level 3 qualification. You must have experience with HR recruitment and HR administration to be considered for this role.

 The Role:

  • Responsible for the upkeep and management of personal records and the HR system, ensuring compliance with GDPR
  • Responsible For administering new starter documents, ensuring right to work checks and employment referencing are satisfactory and all relevant documents are obtained
  • Coordinating the new starter on boarding and induction process
  • Coordinating probation reviews, ensuring relevant review meeting and documents are completed by management in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the recruitment process, managing vacancies, interacting with recruitment agencies, arranging interviews and ensuring all relevant paper is completed and filed accordingly ensuring compliance with GDPR
  • Administering the leave process ensuring exit interviews are conducted and data is collated and discussed with the HR Manager
  • Coordinate the employee sickness absence process by ensuring managers conduct a return to work with their employees and the correct documents are obtained and completed withing the HR system
  • Supporting manager with informal sickness/performance/misconduct matters ensuring they are deal in line with company policy and legislation, with guidance and support from the HR Manager
  • Note taking at formal hearings and compilation of hearing packs
