Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement asset management strategies that align with the overall business goals and objectives of the organization.
• Oversee the planning, acquisition, and disposal of assets.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset data.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the effective management of assets.
• Monitor asset performance and identify opportunities for improvement, such as cost savings, process efficiencies, and risk reduction.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of asset management practices and recommend changes or improvements as needed.
• Lead and mentor a team of asset management professionals.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for asset management.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to ensure the effective management of assets across the organization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset management and recommend changes to the organization's asset management strategy as needed.
• Analyze and report on asset performance metrics, including return on investment, utilization rates, and maintenance costs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of capital budgets and long-term asset management plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to asset management, such as environmental regulations.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with asset management, including financial, operational, and reputational risks.
