Skilled Machine Operator

We are recruiting for experienced Skilled Machine Operators specialising in beam saw operation. Working in partnership with furniture manufacturers in Melton (HU14), we are looking for reliable, hardworking operators. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, good pay from £13.50, and opportunities for overtime paid at premium rates.

Shift pattern / Working hours

Working as a Skilled Machine Operator you will work the following:

Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:30pm

Job description

As a Skilled Machine Operator working on a beam saw, you will be responsible for general furniture processing in Melton. Your duties will include:

·       Operating beam saw machinery safely and efficiently

·       Measuring, cutting, and shaping furniture to specification

·       Lifting and loading materials

·       Moving stock around the production area

·       General housekeeping duties

·       Adhering to all Health & Safety regulations

·       Routine maintenance checks on machinery
