FABRICATOR

We are recruiting an experienced Fabricator to a join a high-quality steel door manufacturer on the outskirts of East Hull (HU12). This is a Permanent Vacancy offering a starting salary of £30,000.   

Shift pattern / Working hours

Monday to Thursday 8am – 4:30pm  

Friday 8am – 3:30pm 

Start date / Duration

The Fabricator role is a Permanent position that will commence with immediate effect however, should you have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around this.

Job description

As a Fabricator your duties will be split between working in the fabrication department and the hardware fitting department. Your duties will include;

·       Cutting out apertures in steel doors using a plunge saw

·       Making alterations to frames by punching, mitring and welding pre-formed sections to the frames

·       MIG welding

·       Using various power tools

·       Working from drawings and templates

·       Manuel handling

The successful candidate:

To be considered for the position of Fabricator you must;

·       Have experience with MIG welding

·       Have experience using power tools such as drills, grinders and plunge saws

·       Be confident using templates to mark out drilling and cutting patterns

·       Be physically sit and capable of lifting up to 25kg

·       Be self-motivated and show commitment to the role

·       Have a good level of verbal and written English
