Working in partnership with an EMI-Award Winning plastic fabrication company located in HU7 and a Manufacturer in HU17, we are recruiting an experience Reach Truck Forklift Driver. This is a fantastic opportunity that offers ongoing work with training opportunities, paid at £12.25 - £13.52 on days and £14.52 on nights with overtime available paid at premium rates.

Hours and shifts vary as we have a number of roles

YOU MUST HAVE A VALID REACH FORKLIFT LICENSE

Shift pattern / Working hours

HU7 shift hours

3 shift rotation - YOU MUST BE ALL TO WORK ALL SHIFTS

Shifts Patterns: 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm / 10pm-6am

HU17 shift hours

7am - 4:30 pm for 3 weeks then 1:45 pm - 10:45 pm

Monday to Thursday ONLY

Reach Truck Forklift Driver positions will commence with immediate effect however, if you do have a notice period with your current employer, we will work around that. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to obtain permanent employment.

Job description

As a Reach Truck Forklift Driver you will be responsible for carrying out forklift driving duties in a busy warehouse. Day to day you will be expected to;

· Loading and unloading both manually and using a forklift

· Ensure stock is safely transported and manoeuvre around the factory as required

· Correctly record and use materials and ensure correct stock accuracy

· Carry out all inspections to the relevant schedules, to comply with specifications

· Be responsible for the completion of all relevant documentation, to comply with ISO standards.

· To work to Health & Safety procedures and report near misses.

· To continually improve housekeeping standards, to meet GMP.

· Stock Taking, lifting and loading on the line, packing

· Reading Orders from job sheet

The successful candidate

To be successful for the position of Reach Truck Forklift Driver;

· You MUST have a valid Reach Truck Forklift License

· You MUST have at least 1 year on the job experience driving a Reach Truck Forklift

· Committed, team player with a keen eye for quality.

· Reliable with good timekeeping.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
