Interim Head of Service Delivery - Financial Services
Interim opportunity for a seasoned Head of Service Delivery within a Financial Services business. You will be responsible for leading and transforming an international group Service function for a major financial Services company. Extensive track record of 3rd Party Management, Change, and engaging with Outsource Partners is essential.
Responsibilities
- Managing a multi-million pound outsource contract
- Extensive experience in dealing with on and off shore Outsource Suppliers and holding them to task
- Supporting and engaging with a wider support team
- Implementing change and team-wide improvements
- Evaluate current operating structure and leading proposals towards a TOM
- Create, develop and lead an effective and energetic team with focus on “right first time” delivery supported by appropriate processes, controls and governance
Skills & Experience
- Technical background and knowledge is required, ‘hands on’ mentality is needed
- Handling million pound outsource contracts offshore
- Complex stakeholder management required, facing off to various areas
- Track record of identifying potential problems in a change programme, escalating appropriately and communicating effectively to the relevant stakeholders
- Very strong stakeholder engagement, ideally in a Financial Services organisation
- Experience of working in a Financial Services organisation or a similarly regulated industry with demanding stakeholders
- Knowledge of the IT development process and delivery lifecycles, including all aspects of technical and business testing
- Ability to re-energise a team and support direct reports
- Proven experience of managing and leading large teams
- Exceptional communication skills
