Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of LED products supplying to a number of different sectors. They are looking for a hands-on Quality Inspector with experience using handheld tools, documenting, and ensuring high quality products. The successful candidate will be subjected to great training and the ability to learn new skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Hands-on Quality Inspector role
- Inspecting machined metal (mostly aluminum) and plastic components
- Using handheld tools- Calipers, verniers, gauges etc.
- Visual inspections
- Goods In first article inspections (AS9100), through to finished assembled products
- Internal calibration of measuring equipment and documenting
- Working to AS9100 and IS09001 quality standards
- Marking up drawings
- FAIR reports
- Helping with monitoring training of staff
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experienced measuring with handheld tools
- Complying to quality standards
- CAD experience
- IT Literate
