I am working with a business looking to take on a Maintenance Technician on an afternoon shift basis. Working with a leading manufacturing business, this would be well suited to a candidate experienced in the field of maintenance engineering who is multiskilled, with either electrical or mechanical bias. This position will provide you the opportunity to finish early on a Friday, join an employee owned business and gain private medical cover after an extended period with the business.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of plant and equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns
• Implement 'Quick fixes' to return production equipment to use in a safe way, ensuring product quality requirements are met.
• Work towards implementing permanent countermeasures to the root causes of breakdowns
• Contribute to formal breakdown investigation team activities
• Supply suggestions and feedback into the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance system

Requirements

• Manufacturing background.
• Experienced in a maintenance role.
• Multiskilled background – either mechanical or electrical bias.
