A world renowned manufacturing group is currently looking to take on a Production Team Leader.  This is the opportunity to work a global business and take up a key function in the production team. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the production operation, ensuring staff are fully aware of, organised and competent to achieve required targets.
• Ensure that the production facility is well organised, with high standards of housekeeping.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve the operation, enabling staff to contribute to continuous improvement.
• Actively manage our staff attendance, with a fair and rigorous approach to dealing with attendance issues.
• Work in accordance with all health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working in a team leaders or supervisory production role.
• Good understanding of MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Previous experience of managing and motivating people.
• LEAN manufacturing experience.
