Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead New Product Development activities.
  • Identifying new product development markets and developing a robust product roadmap.
  • Support legacy product improvements and provide technical guidance in support of ongoing production activities.
  • Project Management of new and existing product development through to fruition.
  • Supporting Technical Sales activities by providing input during the formation of quotations and providing technical training for new salespeople/partners/distributors.
  • The creation and management of mechanical drawings on Solidworks.
  • Testing and analysing products.
  • Prototype builds.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience within product and mechanical design.
  • Experience in Electro Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.
  • Strong 3D modelling experience (preferably Solidworks).
  • Strong understanding of DFM & DFA principles.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with electronic products.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to create tolerance drawings and assembly instructions.
