Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead New Product Development activities.
- Identifying new product development markets and developing a robust product roadmap.
- Support legacy product improvements and provide technical guidance in support of ongoing production activities.
- Project Management of new and existing product development through to fruition.
- Supporting Technical Sales activities by providing input during the formation of quotations and providing technical training for new salespeople/partners/distributors.
- The creation and management of mechanical drawings on Solidworks.
- Testing and analysing products.
- Prototype builds.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience within product and mechanical design.
- Experience in Electro Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.
- Strong 3D modelling experience (preferably Solidworks).
- Strong understanding of DFM & DFA principles.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with electronic products.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to create tolerance drawings and assembly instructions.
