About the Role

You will join a specialist Metrology team of three, with plans to expand to five by the end of the year. This position plays a critical role in ensuring measurement accuracy, driving quality performance, and supporting customer expectations across high‑precision engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and precision of all measurement systems across the facility
  • Develop, implement, and maintain metrology and CT inspection procedures
  • Program and operate CMM and CT systems to support production and inspection needs
  • Conduct defect analysis, review quality data, and drive process improvements
  • Apply GD\&T principles to drawings and measurement processes
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding inspection results, non‑conformances, and technical issues
  • Lead quality audits and support continuous improvement activities
  • Train staff on metrology equipment and quality best practices

About You

You will be an analytical, detail‑focused engineer who enjoys working with advanced metrology technology and solving complex quality problems.

Essential Experience

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing or engineering environment in a quality/metrology role
  • Experience with industrial CT scanning, CMM operation, and dimensional inspection
  • Strong experience using Zeiss Inspect and QCT CMM software
  • Skilled in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD\&T)
  • Ability to analyse and interpret quality data sets
  • Experience with FAIR and APQP processes
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Willingness to complete Radiation Supervisor training

Desirable (Nice‑to‑Have)

  • Experience working with QMS systems
  • Internal Auditor qualification
  • Existing Radiation Supervisor certification
