Our client is a bespoke turn-key manufacturer of sustainable products for the construction industry. Due to a continuous and stable growth over the past years they are looking for an experienced Production Manager to join the Production Department. Previously this role has been fulfilled but the Operations Manager however, due to the growth this now needs to be a stand alone position.
£45,000 - £55,000 Dependant on Experience

Role & Responsibilities:
Production team of 35 - including a Production Supervisor and four Team Leaders, with the remainder being assemblers.
Key internal relationships: procurement, logistics, and quality.
- Plan, manage and implement production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Monitor production processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency,
- Monitor Manpower usage & Materials (stock) - monitor wastage and improve efficiency
- Manage and develop production staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes, or equipment to improve production capabilities.
- Analyse production data and reports to track performance against targets and make data-driven decisions
Key Skills / Experience required:
- Previous experience as a Production or a Manufacturing Manager
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing
- Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Level 2 or above in an engineering field
