Our client is a leading manufacturer that is making a huge investment in the factory over the next 2 years. Due to this growth they are looking to expand with an extra Electrically Biased Engineer to assist with further works and minimise downtime.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical & mechanical support & repairs for all production equipment & site services
- Fixing production machinery, mixers, industrial processing equipment, conveyors, automation & controls, PLC's, SCADA Systems, robots and more
- Supporting the engineering shift managers with project work - new machine & production line installs
- PPM's, electrical & mechanical fault finding, problem solving, machine upgrades
- PLC - electrical fault finding
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Must have strong electrical fault finding
- Apprenticeship trained or a time-served engineering with mechanical & electrical qualifications
- Must have previously worked in FMCG or packaging manufacturing
- Strong electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
- PLC - electrical fault finding
- Experience of carrying out project work and new machinery installations
- Experienced in planning & scheduling PPM work
- Ensure H&S is adhered to
