An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Contract Administrator to join a highly regarded builder, working on complex, design-led projects for Australia’s leading property developers. This role is based in their well-established Sydney office, where you’ll be part of a collaborative team with deep expertise across construction, design, and planning disciplines.
You’ll join the team as a Senior Contract Administrator on one of several technically challenging projects currently in delivery - valued at $25M, $30M, and $55M respectively.
Looking ahead, there’s a secured pipeline including a $400M project commencing in Q1 2026, with a $450M project in the peipeline for Q1 2027 - offering a stable platform for long-term career growth.

You will work closely with seasoned Construction Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Estimators, and Town Planners, gaining broad exposure across the full project lifecycle.
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary Qualified in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Solid working knowledge of major building trades obtained while working for reputable Building Contractors
- A track record of preparing cost forecasts, preparing cash flow analysis, and monitoring financial outcomes on substantial construction projects
- Thorough experience of assessing subcontractor variations and preparing head contract variations
- Awareness of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts
- Strong negotiation skills and an ability to work in partnership with subcontractors
- Experience of capably liaising with clients and building strong working relationships with all stakeholders
- Exceptional track record of working closely with site teams and a natural aptitude to mentor and lead others
- A working knowledge of construction specific Acts, Codes and Regulations, in particular the Building Code of Australia, Security of Payments Act and the Work Health & Safety Act
Applicants must hold tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, and possess relevant industry experience including time spent overseeing personnel on complex design and construct projects.
