Senior Contract Administrator - Developer Builder (3291741) Sydney CBD, Sydney, Australia

Salary: AUD220000 - AUD280000 per annum

We are seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to take the lead on a landmark $100M mixed-use new build in Sydney. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead procurement and contract strategy on a high-profile development for one of the country’s most recognisable brands.

 

This project marks the beginning of an exciting pipeline of developments valued from $100M to over $250M, with a long-term future in mind. You will have the opportunity to progress into the Project Manager role within 9 months, taking this project from procurement through to successful delivery.

 

Your Role

  • Lead the procurement process for the full $100M development package

  • Manage head contract administration and let all major trade packages

  • Oversee the construction of a sophisticated display suite, setting the tone for the full development

  • Drive commercial performance and risk mitigation strategies

  • Liaise closely with internal development, construction, and design teams

  • Provide leadership across contracts, claims, variations, cost planning, and forecasting

  • Support transition into Project Management responsibilities as the project progresses

 

You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in Contract Administration within the Tier 1 or 2 or Developer Builder environment

  • Strong understanding of procurement and commercial strategy on large-scale projects ($70M+ ideally)

  • A desire to progress into a Project Management role within a reputable development-led organisation

  • Track record working on mixed-use, multi-residential, or commercial builds

  • Commercial nous, attention to detail, and a proactive leadership style
