Job Title: Trainee Manager
Location: Cork City
Hours: 42 hours per week (Shifts between 6:00 AM – 10:00 PM)
Shifts: 5 out of 7 days
Salary: €32,000 – €33,000 (Dependent on experience)
Reporting to: Assistant Manager and Store Manager
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Manager to join our team in Cork City. This hands-on role is ideal for someone keen to build a long-term career in retail management. You will support day-to-day store operations while developing key leadership and business skills under the guidance of senior managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures
- Replenish stock and manage store orders
- Monitor and reduce stock waste
- Handle cash and ensure till accuracy
- Supervise and support team members during shifts
- Participate in management meetings
- Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support with HR tasks such as rota scheduling and staff communication
- Assist in managing the store’s social media and marketing efforts
- Develop and apply best practices in:
- Communication
- Time management
- Team leadership

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Flexible availability for rotating early and late shifts
- Positive and energetic personality
- Retail or customer-facing experience is a bonus but not essential
