Data and Business Performance Manager 

Northern Territory PHN leads the development and coordination of an equitable, comprehensive primary health care system and an engaged health workforce driven by community needs. 

 

Salary: $125,793 + Super

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

This role curates NT PHN primary care, population health, organisational, provider performance and  

reporting data sets with a view to providing insights and analysis to drive planning, decision-making and CQI initiatives. This will involve innovative communication of key health data to meet the data needs of commissioned health service providers, funding bodies, and internal teams including the Senior Executive Leadership Team and Board. 

This role enables the development of a culture of data-driven leadership throughout the health commissioning cycle to achieve increasingly responsive, productive, efficient and tailored primary health services for Territorians.  

ABOUT YOU 

This role will suit a candidate that has high-level knowledge in driving data and digital strategies such as strategy development, project oversight and engagement, and an understanding of the use of data analytics to inform decision making and quality improvement. Highly skilled in leading  preparation of formal and informal reports. If you are a professional who is organized, pays attention to detail, has great interpersonal skills and can manage multiple tasks and projects within a small team, we are looking for you! If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to chat: 

  • A post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline e.g., informatics, data science, or information management, or extensive experience equivalent to a post graduate qualification. 
  • Demonstrated experience in leading the development and implementation of data strategy and data governance structures, including data custodianship and relevant statutory legislative. 
  • Demonstrated high level experience in analysing statistical data, evaluation, and monitoring, identifying features and population trends, and communicate key outcomes to guide strategic direction. 
  • Demonstrated experience in data extraction, data visualisation, or the use of CRM or business intelligence tools to support quality improvement and performance management activities. 
  • Experience and expertise in performance monitoring frameworks and processes, preferable in a responsive service delivery organisation. 
  • Proven evaluative and strategic thinking skills and judgement required to identify and respond to complex matters through well considered organisational responses.
