Strategy Planning and Performance 

Northern Territory Primary Health Network leads the development and coordination of an equitable, comprehensive primary health care system and health workforce in the Northern Territory. 

Salary: Executive Level contract

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

The Executive Manager Strategy Planning and Performance (SPP) works in close partnership with other members of the Senior Executive Leadership Team (SELT), providing high level strategic planning and reporting advice to the CEO and wider organisation and will be required to work across NT PHN’s numerous partnerships.   

This role is a challenging and rewarding, providing expert leadership, advice and support on complex strategic planning, health planning, commissioning project management, service development and policy issues.   

ABOUT YOU 

You are a strategy-focused leader, able to confidently provide high-level advice to the CEO and Senior Executive Leadership Team. You have practical experience and an understanding of monitoring and evaluation frameworks, as well as project development and management principles. You have a passion for local healthcare and can successfully lead and develop your staff to deliver exceptional results for the Territory.  

If you have the following skills and experience, we’d love to chat:  

  • Tertiary qualifications in health planning and evaluation, health management or similar. Relevant postgraduate qualifications would be highly advantageous, as would an understanding of company structures and governance in a Not-For-Profit organisation 
  • 5-10 years’ experience in a strategic leadership role, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, preferably at Senior Executive Level.  
  • Demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams and the ability to align performance with NT PHN’s cultural and behavioural standards.  
  • Proven track record as a creative strategic thinker that harnesses opportunities to continually improve the delivery of operations.  
  • Proven experience in leading implementation of strategic functions achieving high quality services and systems in a frame of continuous improvement that is aligned with strategic goals.  
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers, partners and stakeholders in an environment requiring cultural sensitivity.
