We are looking for an experienced Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) to support residents throughout planned maintenance and refurbishment works in Trafford.
Working within occupied residential properties, you will play a key role in ensuring residents are informed, supported and treated with respect throughout the delivery of works.
You will work closely with site teams, project management, clients and residents to ensure excellent customer service and effective communication throughout the programme.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a key point of contact for residents throughout planned works.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and communities.

Provide clear information regarding planned works, programmes, access requirements and disruption.

Visit residents in their homes and maintain regular communication.

Coordinate access to properties with residents and operational teams.

Respond professionally to resident queries, concerns and complaints.

Investigate issues and ensure appropriate resolutions are communicated to residents.

Identify vulnerable residents and ensure appropriate support is provided.

Maintain accurate records of resident interactions using the relevant business systems.

Ensure resident information and communications are completed accurately and on time.

Work closely with Site Managers and operational teams to resolve resident issues.

Support resident meetings, consultations and engagement activities.

Assist with community and social value initiatives where required.

Produce relevant customer care information and KPI data.

Attend site, client and project meetings as required.

Help ensure works are delivered with minimal disruption to residents.
Essential Skills & Experience
-
Previous experience in resident liaison, customer liaison, housing, construction, planned maintenance or a similar environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Confident communicating with residents face-to-face, by telephone and in writing.

Ability to handle complaints and potentially sensitive situations professionally.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
