We are looking for an experienced Plumber / Multi-Trade Operative to join a housing maintenance team working across London.

This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled plumber with wider multi-trade experience and a background in responsive repairs or property maintenance. You will work across occupied properties, carrying out repairs and maintenance while providing a professional service to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing repairs and maintenance across residential properties.

• Complete a range of multi-trade repairs as required.

• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.

• Work across occupied properties while maintaining a professional approach with residents.

• Complete work efficiently and to a high standard.

• Maintain safe working practices at all times.

• Record completed works and report any further issues identified.

• Liaise professionally with residents, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders.

• Travel across the relevant North or South London patch as required.

Essential Requirements

• Strong practical plumbing background.
• Wider multi-trade maintenance experience.
• Experience carrying out responsive repairs or similar property maintenance work.
• Experience working in occupied residential properties.
• Good practical fault-finding and repair skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel across the relevant London patch.
• Must be based within a practical commuting distance of the relevant area.
• Interested in a permanent position at £38,000 per annum.

Desirable

• Experience working within social housing or housing maintenance.
• Relevant plumbing or trade qualifications.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
