The Opportunity

A growing business delivering domestic energy efficiency and retrofit projects is looking for an experienced Loft Installer to support ongoing work across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The role will involve carrying out loft-related retrofit and insulation works within domestic properties, helping improve energy efficiency and the overall performance of homes.

Important to Know

• Full-time retrofit work

• Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, with travel required

• Experience in loft installation or insulation work is important

• Domestic retrofit experience is highly relevant

• Work will take place in occupied residential properties

• CSR Card requirements to be confirmed

• Driving requirements to be confirmed

• PAYE and/or self-employed options to be confirmed

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out loft insulation and associated retrofit installation works

• Prepare areas for installation

• Install insulation materials to the required standard

• Work safely within domestic loft spaces

• Identify and report issues affecting installation

• Work alongside other retrofit trades where required

• Maintain a clean and professional working environment

• Complete works safely and efficiently

• Follow project specifications and quality requirements

• Communicate professionally with customers and other site personnel

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in loft installation, insulation or domestic retrofit
• Good practical construction skills
• Comfortable working within domestic properties and loft spaces
• Good understanding of safe working practices
• Reliable and organised
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Relevant retrofit or insulation experience is advantageous
