Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per year
Location: Edinburgh and Glasgow region
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Van: Company van provided

About the Role

We are looking for qualified Electricians to join a growing team working across the Edinburgh and Glasgow region. This is a mobile role, with electricians travelling to domestic and commercial sites to carry out electrical installation and testing work associated with renewable energy technologies.

You will work on projects involving solar PV, battery storage and heat pump installations, so candidates should be adaptable and comfortable working across different types of installations.

You will generally share a company van with a labourer and travel to sites together.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation work on domestic and commercial sites

• Install and work on circuits associated with solar PV, battery storage and heat pump systems

• Create and modify electrical circuits

• Test and inspect electrical circuits and installations

• Travel to different sites across the Edinburgh and Glasgow region

• Work safely and in accordance with relevant electrical standards and procedures

• Work effectively alongside labourers and other members of the installation team

• Adapt to different site requirements and installation environments

Requirements

• Fully qualified Electrician

• Minimum 3 years' experience working as an Electrician

• Experience with electrical fitting and installation

• Strong experience creating and testing electrical circuits

• Able to work across both domestic and commercial environments

• Adaptable and comfortable working on different types of projects

• Full UK driving licence preferred due to the mobile nature of the role
