The Opportunity

A growing business delivering domestic energy upgrades and retrofit works is looking for a Multi-Skilled Retrofit Tradesperson to support projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

This is a hands-on role working within domestic properties, supporting retrofit works through joinery, making good, finishing and minor building works.

• Full-time position

• Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland, with travel required

• Salary from £37,500, based on experience

• PAYE or self-employed options

• Long-term work on secured retrofit projects

• Experience in joinery or multi-trade work is required

• CSR Card is required

• Experience working in occupied homes is important

• Own van and tools are preferred but not essential

• Domestic retrofit experience is highly relevant

Key Responsibilities

• Complete general joinery and making-good works following retrofit installations

• Lift and reinstate floors, ceilings and access points

• Form service boxing, casings and finishes

• Support ventilation and minor building works

• Complete internal finishing, including patching, painting and snagging

• Work alongside other trades as required

• Maintain a clean, professional and high-quality finish

• Complete works safely and efficiently within occupied domestic properties

• Support the wider project team to ensure retrofit works are completed to the required standard

What We're Looking For

• Experience in joinery, multi-trade or similar construction work
• Good practical building and finishing skills
• Ability to deliver a clean, high-quality finish
• Experience working in domestic properties
• Comfortable working around residents and customers
• Reliable and organised
• Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid CSR Card
• Full driving licence is advantageous

Domestic retrofit experience will be considered even where candidates have worked on different retrofit programmes or contracts.
