The Opportunity

A growing business delivering domestic retrofit and energy efficiency projects is looking for an experienced Domestic Retrofit Surveyor to support the assessment and delivery of retrofit works across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

The role will involve assessing domestic properties and supporting the wider retrofit team in identifying and planning appropriate energy efficiency improvements.

Important to Know

• Domestic retrofit and energy efficiency experience is highly relevant

• Experience surveying or assessing residential properties is required

• Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland projects

• Experience working in occupied homes is important

• Candidates with domestic retrofit project experience will be considered even without experience on the same specific scheme

• Driving requirements to be confirmed

• Relevant retrofit qualifications to be confirmed

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out surveys and assessments of domestic properties

• Assess properties in relation to proposed retrofit works

• Record relevant property and project information accurately

• Identify issues that may affect retrofit delivery

• Support the development and planning of retrofit measures

• Liaise with homeowners and project teams

• Provide accurate information to support project planning and delivery

• Work alongside project managers, supervisors and retrofit delivery teams

• Support quality and compliance requirements

• Maintain accurate survey and project records

What We're Looking For

• Experience in domestic retrofit, construction, surveying or a related field
• Experience assessing or surveying residential properties
• Good understanding of domestic energy efficiency works
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to identify issues and communicate findings clearly
• Organised approach to managing multiple properties or projects
• Comfortable working in occupied homes
• Relevant retrofit, surveying, construction or energy-efficiency qualifications are advantageous
