Fire Stopper - Glasgow
Our client, a leading passive fire protection organisation, require experienced fire stoppers to carry out fire protection works on social housing
Duties will include batt & mastic penetration sealing, cavity barriers, installing/inspecting fire dampers, installing fire rated partitions/fire curtains.
You will have comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of fire stopping procedures and products, including, batt, mastic, fire seals & flexible cavity barriers.
You will have the ability to read technical drawings and be a clear communicator to liaise with the site team and your supervisor.
It is likely that you will be required to work in a customer facing environment and as such, we require someone who is polite, presentable and carries themselves in a professional manner at all times.
On occasion, you may be asked to work out of normal working hours where necessary
You will have a minimum of 2 years fire stopping experience, CSCS, own transport, NVQ2 Passive Fire Protection (Fire Stopping) and ideally FIRAS accreditation, PASMA and/or IPAF.
