Economics Teacher – Independent Day & Boarding School

Location: Yorkshire (coastal setting)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

We are currently supporting a well-established independent day and boarding school in Yorkshire with the appointment of an Economics Teacher from September 2026.

The school educates pupils aged 3–18 and has approximately 475 pupils on roll. Set in a beautiful coastal location, it offers a warm and close-knit community, strong academic outcomes, and a thriving Sixth Form with excellent university destinations.

The school is now seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Economics specialist to teach across Key Stage 4 and Sixth Form.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold a degree in Economics or a related subject, along with a recognised teaching qualification

• Have experience teaching Economics at GCSE and post-16 level

  • Experience of the IB is desirable

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Economics

• Be committed to high academic standards and contributing to wider school life

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire motivated learners
