You will have individual ownership and responsibility of one of our core service areas and help create and maintain product, experience and technological enhancements within FS Digital, ensuring that the backlog of work reflects the best knowledge available and working with the development team to identify and remove any uncertainties or lack of clarity of work items. You will also support engineers and automation testers to define appropriate automated tests to ensure that the product meets the needs of the customer without compromising on quality.

 

For the right individual with a passion for new technology, this role will provide direct experience of how technology can transform business operations and create innovative wealth management services within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality and consistency in approach across various projects within FS Digital
  • Working with data and qualitative insight, through collaboration with frontline staff, managers and key stakeholders, to design solutions and strategic propositions.
  • Understanding and articulating clearly how services need to change from a user orientated, system, and business perspective
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Work closely with Product Owners to facilitate product definition.
  • Acting as a liaison between stakeholders and users to understand needs and defines user stories and proposes designs and/or services to meet these needs.
  • Performing requirements analysis and prioritisation
  • Designing, building, and setting usability tests for service and product prototypes, working from sketches into quick prototypes that can be iterated with feedback
  • Documenting and communicating results to a range of stakeholders
  • Ensuring relevant SMEs and practitioners are engaged
  • Presentation of strawman solutions to decision makers to facilitate rapid and disciplined final decision making based on available information
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimisation strategies
  • Consideration of legacy business requirements
  • Alignment with overall project objectives whilst keeping in line with Agile methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience of working within a development team and scrum environment
  • Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Ability to quickly gain the technical, behavioural and contextual elements of a project
  • The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • To get hands on with Software, being comfortable doing high level business process testing to ensure it matches the acceptance criteria.
  • Be at ease with Technology, happy to be involved in technical discussions and to grow your knowledge within this area.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of JIRA and Confluence
