Gi Group are currently recruiting for a Ward Hostess to work within Derby Hospital.
As a ward hostess you will help to enhance our patient well-being and their experience in the hospital. Working closely with other hospital staff you will be expected to deliver a great level of customer service to all patients, visitors and staff.
You will be responsible for providing an efficient food and beverage service to patients on wards ensuring that food and beverages meets patients` medical, dietary and cultural needs. You will help to prepare the service areas with the necessary equipment, such as crockery, serving utensils, condiments. In addition, you will be responsible for food preparation and production, maintaining a high standard of hygiene and food handling, while ensuring all food served to patients is easily accessible.
24.5 hours per week. 4/5 days per week Mon- Sun. This role is on a 3 week rota Basis with shift times consisting of:
• 0730-1300
• 1230-1830
• 0730-1315
Must be able to work ALL 3 shifts patterns.
Pay
Mon-Fri £9.49 per Hour
Saturday - £13.38 per Hour
Sundays & Bank holidays - £17.37 per hour
A DBS will be required, either one you already hold or Gi Group can process this for you with a cost to yourself.
Experience in a similar role or environment would be Desirable and willingness to work in and around people with illnesses will be essential. The wearing of a mask will also be required whilst working.
