Castle Business Support are currently recruiting on the outskirts of York for a Sales Account Manager to join a well-established independent exciting business. You will be responsible for sale activity, lead generation and account management. Please be aware there is no bus route to this office therefore you must be a driver to be considered for this position.
The role:
- Generate new business from new customers by phoning companies who would use this product
- Respond to and exclusively handle all enquiries from specific customers assigned to you, or leads that you generate from scratch yourself
- Monitor and chase suppliers to ensure that delivery dates are met
- Provide excellent Customer Service at all times as per company directives and values
- Account Managers to develop good working relationships with the buyers at their new customers
- Generate and improve the sales revenue from any existing customers assigned to you.
- Manage your desk in the way, and to the daily routine, explained to you by your Line Manager
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
- Answer and transfer some incoming telephone calls, regardless of whose customer/buyer they may by
- Handle any complaints or returns, in conjunction with the Sales Manager.

- £20,000 basis salary & Commission, bonus and incentives based on targets

- Monday Friday 08:45 to 17:30 (early finish on a Friday 4.30pm)
- All staff take a 1 hour break at the same time to have the option to mingle with colleagues.
