Saw Operatives
Working with a busy and rapidly expanding manufacturer of non-ferrous metals, my client is looking to recruit an experienced Saw Operative to join the team on a permanent basis working 8am- 5pm Monday-Friday. Experience working with saws/band cutters is essential (wood or metal)
The company is based on the outskirts of Reading so own transport is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
• £26,000 per annum
• Monday-Friday
• 8am-5pm
• On site free parking
Duties:
• Measuring materials accurately
• Lifting and Moving Materials
• Operating multiple machines simultaneously
• Ensuring safe working conditions in accordance to site standards
• Reporting to management with regards to Machine/material defects
• Loading and unloading of material
• Clearing and Cleaning of Machinery
Ideal Candidate
• Experienced using saws/band cutters (wood or metal)
• Counterbalance forklift licence preferrable
• Works well under pressure
• Team Player
• Flexible in daily duties
